Under One Roof
Living in Blessed and Broken Families
Talk 1: Blessed Yet Broken
WELCOME to our brand new series, Under One Roof.
People live under one roof, but their hearts live in different worlds.
How do we solve this? How can we heal our home? How can we fulfill God’s plan for our families?
We introduce our 6-part series with three statements:
1. All Families Are Blessed and Broken at the Same Time
2. Families Can Help Us Or Harm Us the Most
3. If We Were Hurt By Families, We Can Also Be Healed by Families
One Big Message: Your Family Will Bless Other Families
Talk 2: Different Yet One

Talk 3: Beautiful & Burdened Marriages
Welcome to the third installment of our series, UNDER ONE ROOF, titled Beautiful and Burdened Marriages.
We started this series by saying that Jesus was born into a family.
But in Talk 3, we are more specific and say that Jesus was born into a marriage—the marriage of Joseph and Mary.
This Talk is for married, single, or celibate, because your relationship with God is like a marriage. It’s intimate. It’s based on a sacred covenant that will last forever.
And if you’re separated or from a broken family, this Talk is for you too. God is writing a new story for your life.
The key message of Talk 3 is: Make Jesus the center.
Talk 4: One Father, Many Children
Welcome to the fourth episode of our series, UNDER ONE ROOF.
Talk 4, titled One Father, Many Children, is about parenting.
One of the greatest tragedies in the world today: When fathers are not trustworthy.
If you have a father who did not mirror God’s Love for you, Talk 4 gives only one path of healing. The Solution: Jesus and His Spiritual Family.
The key message of Talk 4: Receive the Father’s Love.
Talk 5: Small Family, Big Family
Welcome to Talk 5 of our series, UNDER ONE ROOF.
Talk 5 presents four controversial women–Tamar, Bathsheba, Ruth, and Rahab. Each woman came from a messy family. And from these families, came our Lord Jesus.
Question: Couldn’t God have selected better, cleaner, holier, and 100% Jewish women to be in the bloodline of Jesus?
The title of Talk 5 is Small Family, Big Family because every family, including your family, good or bad, is part of a Big Family– God’s Family.
The key message of Talk 5: God is bringing your family into His family.
Talk 6: Man’s Tower, God’s Throne
We are ending our soul-altering series, Under One Roof, with a strong declaration.
Talk 6 is about the Tower of Babel. The Talk calls this the Tower of Babylon–because in Hebrew, Babel is Babylon. It’s the same word.
By calling it the Tower of Babylon, we can connect it to what the author was pointing to: The tyrannical empire that conquered Israel in 587 BC.
Backstory: The Tower of Babel is a story in the Book of Genesis that explains why the world’s people speak different languages .
The key message of Talk 6: Stop building your Tower, start building God’s Throne.
